They just sat back and sat back and boy were they rubbish. I agree with Arsene Wenger it is pathetic when a team comes to set up shop and have absolutley no interest in winning the match by actually playing football. Negative football is awful. Credit to Arsenal who refused to be beaten. As for Robin Van Persie, he is realvly coming to the party now. I have always thought he was more dangerous from the setpiece than our esteemed Henry. Dont get me wrong, Thierry is a demi-god but RvP has a left foot that redefines the word dangerous. So Rooney scores and the press reckon he is the greatest thing since they invented football. Rubbish I am interested in tomorrow's Barca v Chelsea. Chavski weren;'t that hot on Saturday while Ronnie was interested to say the least. But as for Arsenal, Moscow visiting should be peeing in theur pants now...

We know the boy has signed a new 8-year contract. That is almost unheard of these days with the likes of Cashley Cow in the business. Now that is commitment. And did you see him picking off Reading for fun? Chelsea were given the run-around by this lot last week but what a masterclass. The short-passing at the edge of the box. Oh my. Henry watch out mate, we have a new favourite and he is the king now. But the best defender, centre at the moment has to be Kolo Toure. His last ditch, positional as well one-on-one play is unrivalled as well as his ability to take the ball out of defence is almost unrivaled. Spare a thought for liverpool though. They are simply awful

The first time I heard he was joining Arsenal, I didnt bat an eyelid. Mind you I was preparing for my O Level exams at the time and let's face it, the Arsenal were not setting the stage alight so who would blame them for signing some French fella. I joked that maybe they figured they needed someone with a name as close to Arsenal as possible. Little did I know the effect he would have on the team. I am not sure there is anything I can say that hasnt been already said in the last week or two about the impact he has had on Arsenal, english, european and dare I say world football. One qualify world football on the basis of how many teams actually want to do things the Arsenal way. And it is all encapsulated in one man, Arsene Wenger. Even here in Zimbabwe you have teams trying to model themselves on the Arsenal system, on and off the pitch and it reaps rewards for them, the national coach is a brilliant example of that. Personally, I am humbled. I can not point out one moment of magic...
