And it finally happened

Image
Jose Antonio Reyes was the best Arsenal player on show at Charlton. He harried, tried and he scored. His confidence is coming back now. For the first time since I can be bothered to remember, Thierry had something good to say about Reyes. We have heard him say all manner of things about RvP11 and seemingly clueless Quincy. But he has never yp my recollection gone on record praising JAR9. Depending on which rag you read he said "Jose deserved the goal because he worked a lot. Not only him but I want to talk about him specially because we need him to do this kind of performance for us. This was magnificent." I said it when he came to the Arsenal, that the spaniard was a warrior, he has pace, guile, grit and determination. He gets knocked down and he keeps coming back. He is a fighter who has never been given anything for free in life and I am pretty sure that he will be a great player for the Arsenal. He just needs someone to say publicly from time to time that he has done well...

Oh I say...

How bad were the Arsenal this weekend especially during the first half. I will tell you one thing, that Faye bloke is one enforcer. I would like to see him come up against Vieira and see what happens. He is a fighter, a warrior, a gladiator. Arsenal need an enforcer in midfielder and Gilberto clearly isn't it. I was watching Thierry Henry's 100 goal DVD this weekend and I picked one assist Vieira made for TH14. In one fell swoop he made a tackle, got up and passed the ball. I do not think there are many players in world football who can do that. And that is what Arsenal's football has been built on. Arsene needs to come up with a new plan or find a hardman. I liked the look of Song against Thun. Maybe give him a chance before you buy someone else. Or even the Muamba kid the Highbury lot are raving about. Gilberto is brilliant at sweeping although he lost the ball too often against Bolton. In fairness most of the team didnt do themselves much credit. It's Ajax this week...

The kids, those kids

Thierry Henry believes that Arsenal have found the perfect goalscoring machine in Arturo Lupoli, saying he will score bags at any ground anywhere. He is also gushing over the talents of Robin Van Persie. And how about Cesc Fabregas. Someone seriously needs to check the age certificate fgor that boy. He is simply majestic. He midfield genius, and he is 18. Yes he is 18. But for me the king in waiting is RvP11. I said last season that he would turn out to be better than Arjen Robben I was laughed out of town. Robben is a winger with a few tricks. RvP11 is four-dimensional football genius who plays the game like a symphony. Note I said four dimensional. His goal against Blackburn cutely illustrates this. It is the 92nd minute and he is on the touch line and everyone is expecting him to run the ball into the corner. But not this young pretender to the number 10 jersey. He slips the ball between Savage and Gray, the former catching him with a cynical kick and he keeps going. Single-minded, ...

A weekend without the premiership

When it is around we take it for granted. This weekend was completely devoid of the premiership, what with the internationals taking centre stage. And oh my did you see the England spine suddenly come to life against the Argies. That partnership of Owen and Rooney is beginning to look scary I say and I dare say England have a big chance to take it this time. Why did Brazil play UAE this weekend I ask. The money? I mean in all fairness who in world football are the UAE. They really did themselves a disservice when they could have chosen from a whole catalogue of choiciest sides in football as part of their preparation for the real thing. 1-0 at half-time and 8-0 at the end. Do you even break a sweat for that sort of thing? So what did i do with my weekend. Well I caught up on my movie watching on The Classic Movie Channel, treating myself to stellar performances from the likes of Cary Grant and Humphrey Bogar t. Now that is entertainment. You watch a lot of today's stuff, the act...

Like I called it

Man United is a team that revels in breaking long runs. They did it against Arsenal and they have done it against Chelsea. I believe Roy Keane said those things and I believe he had Fergie's blessing to wake them lads up and remember what team they were playing for. Van Persie is a player who potentially a phenomenon. He has four dimensions to football. Last year I said he would be better than Arjen Robben and noone believed me and today i say again he will be one of the best in a while.

Of a Frenchman And a Portugeezer in England

So the Frenchie says to the Pourtugeezer that his lot is gonna have it. The Pourtugeezer tells the frenchie that he thinks the Frenchie is a Vouyer. The frenchie doesnt like it and calls the Portugeezer stupid and detached from reality and disrespectful. Sounds like a playing ground incident but this is what in very simplistic terms what happened between Arsene and Jose. Jose needs to grow up and Arsene, well he just done him in like a naughty school boy hasnt he? Maybe there is something going on at the Chavs because suddenly they are drawing and losing as well. Way-to-go Betis. Arsene did bring up one very good point, this business of some foreigner taking over a club and then changing the team into a continental lot which the locale cannot identify with in terms of values and connection of the club to the community. I just think that the locals should own the club since the reality is that they are there for the community and not for some profiteering bl0ke. The bubble will burst so...

The Penalty farce

I am going to play devil's advocate here, and DEFEND the penalty incident involving Pires and Henry over the weekend. Let's suppose for the sake of posterity that goal had gone in after the tap in and all. How many columns would there have been written about the innovation of Thierry and Robert. After all the accolades of the week, how special a player Thierry Henry is and the like this would have taken the ratings through the roof. Think of when he chipped the keeper two seasons ago, we all said kudos to that and the scoreline if my memory serves me right was not dissimilar. Lest we forget, football is first and foremost entertainment. Perhaps we seem to think more of it than just that. It is a sport, played in good spirits and is not business to us the viewers. And, guess what, it has given you something to tal about.

Thierry-fic

It did not seem, quite as inevitable when he smacked in his first against Southampton perhaps as it has in the last two seasons. Thierry Henry finally got the record and my did he get it or what. A special player indeed, not a just a scorer of many goals but of many beautiful goals. Take Thierry Henry away from the premiership's history and I am sure you will be hard-pressed to find anyone who has epitomised the entertainment value of the package. But then again one could argue that Arsene Wenger could have found one to capture the imagination of not just the Highbury faithful but the football standard. I remember the first time I saw him, it was at the World Cup in 1998. I have to admit that I knew very little about french football, bar the omission of Nicolas Anelka from the final french selection and of course Patrick Vieira and Manu Petit. He had pace, imagination but his contribution was largely overshadowed by the mercurial Zinedine Zidane, who was simply larger than life. Bu...

Can't believe it really

Svennis had the testicular fortitude to drop one of his golden boys for a change. I am not really shocked because Rio is well, allowing them in like river flowing. He just isnt it. The big disappointment is darren bent not being included in the team. Sven does not like players who do not play champions league. Because is Crouch a better player this season than he was the last? Or is it simply because he is in a bigger team. I agree with Danny Murphy and his remonstration over Svennis's big club mentality. England should make it to the World Cup easily though. And you can quote me on that. overwhelmed now.

Liverpool have gone back since Houllier

When Gerrard Houllier was gaffer they lacked width, played with little creativity but could win a game. Gerrard Houllier would not have lost 4-1 yesterday, I dont care what people say about Chelsea. Houllier would not have sold Murphy or Owen. Houllier would nerver play 4-2-3-1 in the premiership. Noone does that because the premiership is not a technical league. Even the special one is not technical in the league which is why liverpool will not a get a champions league slot this season. Already 17 points behind and the gap will get bigger and i just dont see where they are guaranteed to get their next win. Why play Garcia out wide? And ask Wigan, chelsea dont like teams that run at them hard and fast through the middle. Benitez's side are not clever, they never will be. They dont have a mista but they could have done with cisse through the middle. The only thing that this shows is that maybe Rafa is not a premirship coach. Which makes me think maybe Martin O'neill at the end o...

What a day

It is a few days till I leave I am reading a lot of material that is supposd to help me go places. My music must touch souls, I am desperate for that> I dont want to be just a producer, I want to be a musician and be really good at it. The weather is interesting. I think I will stay in today and try and work at advacing where I need to go. respect

Ashes go to England

Little Brother - The Minstrel Show

I just got my hands on this album and I am totally feeling it... Did some beats last night and they were smoking like pssshh respect kanye for what he said about bush and the system in america. Power to the people!

Cut-Throat Connivers

I'm a big dreamer so watch me come up with something A plane crash every month now, hurricanes, people dying everywhere, something is going on and we dont know what it is but it scares the hell out of us... It is a scary, I say What next? I hope I am alive to see it

Deadline Day

So I hear the scum bought Jenas, we're getting poom for a season, Hoyte is being farmed and bentley is off to Blackburn for a season. Why didnt we get Jenas I hear you say? What does he bring that the team doesnt already have? Maybe a brit yeah, but I mean to be perfectly honest with you, what does Jenas have that Arsenal need right now. Is he any better than Flamini and Fabregas(especially given that Cesc is still only 18)? Tell you who I would want to get for the Arsenal, Leroy Lita from Burnley. He is poking them in for fun he is. And my oh my I was watching Wolves V QPR last night and betcha by golly wow, the wolves team are rather impressive arent they. Hoddle's doing a fantastic job. They should be a good bet for the premiership and maybe even a good cup run. Sol was back in footie last night. Will be nice to see him run out there. He is a phenomenal defender he is. And Arsenal will be stronger with him. Another drag, I'm off, I wonder what's on telly tonight...

David Bentley

We're selling him right? So the site HERE says Fabregas and Bentley on the new season. Are we keeping him then?

Ah rubbish

Just wanted to say i watched a re-run of the mtv vma awards last night and I have to say i have never been so put off in my life. Maybe it got better but I was switcvhing between Coventry v Southampton last night and the awards themselves. Diddy as a host? I decided let me give him a chance, and the dude thinks he can dance, oh my word. I wanted to throw up save for the Shakira and Green Day performances. The coldplay one was ok save for the fact tha Chris's voice was drowned out. Jamie Foxx should stick to acting... And R Kelly doing a Milli Vanilli now. Slept well though.

Ah the ashes

And the Aussies thought they would walk it. Good game though it was and I am telling you the nails have never suffered so much. Oh my, for them lot to come so close while defending such a small target was simply nothing short of the reason again why we watch sport. As disappointed as the Aussies might be at this moment, I think they will all agree the competitiveness of England is what they have been craving for, a series in which every session is on a knife-edge. And my isnt that Brett Lee chap giving it a go with the bat? Cor... Anyway away from that, i feel good about life I must say. I got a new way of doing things, just redefining a few things about me. September is my last month at work and going into the big wide world to see how it goes there. So pray pray for my downfall if you like but I am going to make it.

Amusing, I think not

So Arsenal smashed four past poor Fulham yesterday not that the game reflected the scoreline to be honest. And Thierry predictably got closer to that Wrighty mark which is brilliant I think. I mean in such a short time and all. Good stuff Titi. And what about Cygan with that brace... Nuff sed. It's twiddling thumbs time now. There has been rain at the ashes and judging from the commentary, that Shaun Tait has got some terrifying speeds. Can't wait to have a look at him. Amazing how the price of everything here just seems to be going up the way it is. I will be lucky to get anything at all this month I will tell you that. But that is finding the meaning in suffering that DMX was talking about.

Just Another day

And I am poorer but I have got to go through this. Going home to watch the Arsenal now..

Well it is Tuesday now...

So what we're saying is that I was missing yesterday, and people think that I was not in because Arsenal lost. Not at all. I just wasnt in the office. About Arsenal, they lost because Henry is too friendly with the chelsea lot. The rest of the team wanted to kill Chelsea but Henry was too busy being nice. A professional means you can put aside your friendship for 90 minutes and play for the fans. Play for the colour of your shirt and that sort of thing. Henry just wasnt up to it to be honest and that the reason Arsenal lost. 11 lions and pussycat. Henry just inst confident against that lot. Well just seen me bill and yikes. Off the phone mate... Broke before pay day and looking worse after

Oh my...

The first week is gone. And we're already at the Chavski match. Sunday camnty come soon enough. David Dein says that Arsene is Arsenal best signing ever. Of course he is because without him we would not have come this far at all and scoring 117 goals in a season and having the premiership's player over the past couple of seasons in the side. I shudder to think of the day when he leaves. And unselfish he is. Setting up a team which he might not use to the full. Maybe we need to get that former Lyon chap over when Arsene leaves but not anytime soon. Or bring him as assistant gaffer because poor Pat is getting a bit stale now. Dont really know. As for this weekend, I think Arsene will win game 500. About Carvallho, i think it is a hoax. trying to make people think the harmony is lost at the Chavs. But if it is real, cor... I am off for the weekend, I hope it is a good one. If not life will go on... The heat change is not doing me any good. The joints are not doing too good
So Patrick is saying that Arsenal will be fine without him and they are sharper than Chelsea. Interesting that bit. Well we will miss you big chap. A true leader of the Arsenal and we just hope Titi will do it for us as much if not more than you did. Away from that bandwidth issues are messing with my uploading music onto my site.... I have two songs up now and the third one will be up tomorrow. Was just listening to my first album a few minutes ago and I have to say that I have come a fair bit from what I used to produce. I think I have stayed faithful to the style and am now defining my own movement but am now inspired to do another dance album after 'The Project'. Take a peek www.soundclick.com/ncb if you haven't already...

Oh sport, what a finish

It is the day after the ashes today and I am saying, what a finish. I think I have pretty much run out of nails now with the way that match panned out. Who is writing these ashes scripts. Oh the agony of getting so near, just one wicket, just that one wicket and it is advantage England going into Trentbridge. Oh but you have to give it to Ricky Ponting. He saved it for the Aussies he did. I mean that was some special knock. Like Steve Waugh this was Ponting's graduation as test captain. It wasn't just that he got the 156, but he was there when the team needed it most. Succumbing late on but he had done enough and you have to say that is what gave McGrath and Lee the inspiration to see out the last 24 balls. Oh what a series this is. This is slowing putting my faith back into sports. I mean a lot of sports were becoming too predictable and doggedly one-sided. No thrills, just nothing for the fans. The richies would just get who they wanted and knock everyone off. But this ashes...

Another week, the prem is here

I am impressed by the way Wigan Athletic played yesterday. I think it is going to be hard for Mourinho this season because they now know they are in for a big fight. Poor Jenas on that decision. Left a bad taste in the mouth... And the way the ashes are panning out, the PGA Cahmpionships and Zimbabwe making some real runs this is making for some interesting sport it is... My back hurts

ol good

So tomorrow I am not in the office and I heard the CEO does not want me to leave. Al very interesting I say but I think I have had enough of this place to be honest. Oh and isnt it good to see vaughan in the runs again. it was getting a bit bad for business that he kept missing out innit? Well I am off now. Cesc has signed a new contract. And when it is done this deal he will be 23. Scary!

After the long weekend

So it was a long weekend here cause of the Heroes' and Defence Forces' Days here in Zimbabwe. No real significance to be honest. Went to watch the farcical cricket test match which is supposed to be in day four today but thanks to Zim's performance was done and dusted in two days. Although to be honest how many tests go to five days these days. They should have tests as four dayers and then have the fifth as an optional day if there is any loss of time due to an inclement in weather. Safe speed, back to work now and it sucks.

Still we mourn

The days seem longer Our bond gets stronger The discipleship of love The way we were when sent from above Clinging to our sorrow The only thing that takes us till tomorrow When we realise what you death really means Our humany snatched by fiends A testament you are to the struggle that we're in We fight in your corner from wretched sin That envelopes from the hate And diminishes that qualities that make our peopel great Peace and respect to your memory and those who loved you Anthony we'll hold down justice is when it's through. - In memory of Anthony Walker, 18 killed in senseless bigotry violence this past week in Liverpool

Can we please have a moment of silence...

For those that died in senseless violence Anthony Walker killed because of the colour of his skin The streets bleed for you young homie And our hearts beat as one as your kin Stand together even now that you gone Another soldier taken leaving a chip in our bone They sow seeds of hatred They chose to have you wasted I put out a candle on my window last night From the sorrow in the dark your spirit shone so bright We shed tears of blood with every thought Abandon the hate for the love that we sought Justice for the weak is all we asking for For the strength to lift us from the core To the point where humanity Makes life and liberty a possibility We never knew you or heard of you till they took you away But in our memories you will live till the final day In memory of Anthony Walker killed in racial violence in Liverpool this past week

Chavski Scared or Something?

It seems everyone from the chairman, to the cap'n, the janitor, and the missing mascot has got something to say about Arsenal. Mour moaning about the fixture list, Kenyon saying we're hypocrites, that other american bloke they have calling us disgraceful over the ash affair, Kenyon saying they will win it before kicking the ball, Terry claiming we will struggle without the departed Vieira, the janitor claiming we stole the mascot, and the missing mascot asking to defect to our lot. Goodness me, dont Chavski have anything better to do than look over the fence and wonder. If they think they are the best why bother with the rest? If you're the best you dont have to say it do you? Unless you have some inferiority complex. Oh gosh. What's that? Fergie also in on it? That old fart! Another day, another day...

What a time

So Arsenal beat Porto and Ajax. We have been to that cup a couple of times and scored one goal. and all of a sudden we're winning it. I fancy Hleb i will tell you that. And the way the team is playing is very interesting. All the strikers are running about. Against Ajax, Ashley Cole was up front missing a chance set up by Henry and by the time the ball had gone to the other end it was bergkamp playing a sweeper role. As for young Bentley, he definitely is looking the part since he's come back. Nice touches he has. And as for young Lupoli, the way he took that goal. Wenger knows... Not a bad day today so far. I have a bit of a fever and all but I should make it. Power cut at home. So you know how that feels. the electricity company say they are coming in this afternoon. I do hope so. The electricity went off just as the ref was blowing to start the Arsenal match. safe speed

It seems

Maybe I am just being a little paranoid here but ever since i handed in my resignation i hacve been getting the short end of a very short stick. maybe my mind working overtime but it cant all be in my head can it?

Of headaches and life

So I am thinking of just walking out. CEO's can just be stupid sometimes. Why? I dont really know. Anyway because someone did not send my cheque in for payment of one of my bills, I have been cut off. Very embarassing piece of business that. Not quite what I need. Terrible headache. Body aches and all that jazz. Need to sleep.

Odd health

I am feeling under the weather. I think I am coming on witrh something. A bug they say is going around. Hope it doesnt come over the weekend because that doesnt help much does it? The point is to miss work i think. Arsenal should really just forget about Baptista but I guess the fact that they are still pushing it means they know something we dont.

Sometimes it is for the best

I just had to change my notice. I was supposed to leave at the end of August but now am here for an extra month after that. Maybe there is a reason for that. I sure hope so because I am beginning to really hate being here. It is a beautiful day though. The weather is beautiful and I am serving a local shop with a complaint letter. It is branded SPAR and that should be interesting in as far as their holding the franchise is concerned because they sold me somethng which was quite rotten. So much so it had moth in it. So they are 'avin it mate. Oh and I see Thierry Henry is going on about trusting Wenger. Good music from the new skipper that. That is what you need your skipper to be doing. Working for the cause of the side. Sometimes Paddy as much as we bloody loved him talked like someone who was disgruntled with our lot. Which is not what you need for your side. The captain is the one who holds the ship together and should fiercely fight everything else that is out there. He prote...

Love

It is a beautiful thing isnt it? That feeling that you could fly and that there is in your express belief only one person who can catch you. You feel so lonely without her. You feel so natural when you're with her and things never are the same again. That is how the new babyface album makes me feel mate. I hate it because I wish someone would say some of those things to me and too have me say some of those things to her and that sort of thing. Oh goodness... It is a beautiful feeling this love thing. In love with the idea of being in love. Now to find love though I am not sure that one goes about looking for it. I mean how do you look for love. What if we're so curiously constituted that we are sitting ducks in this whole affair? That we could search for it but because we have defined it based on human elements among us and experiences that have prejudiced us, we miss out on it. Ah life and love...

Ashes pom misery

Michael Vaughan was ill-advised to claim that the Aus machine was over the hill. Shane Warne old? Oh my goodness he was just setting it up wasnt he? Now it is day four coming and well it's over isnty it? unless it rains proper this match is gone. Interesting that the sun reports that we have agreed the sum for the beast and now it is just up to him. I say we just forget him and get Torres. Acquiring him is just too much work. About life, a few changes and stuff

It just seems sometimes

You have nothing to say to yourself ot anyone else. An anger so deep and seated it almost boils and reeks of hatred but at the same time an understanding though quiet of how the wolrd fucntions and that for the purposes of posterity one must let go of that anger and give way to tempered reason. I just sucks sometimes. So much you dont even have the energy to discuss sport...

Another tragedy, Al Q'aeda must be destroyed

More bombs, more lives, less security. It is turning into a nightmare for the people of London. Now when they get on a bus, they only hope that they will get where they are supposed to be. The life they had is now surely taken away. A friend sent me an email after reading this blog saying that wee have all reached the stage where we can sacrifice privacy for the sake of sifting out the enemy. Our hope is that the authorities who will access this information will use it in good faith. It has become a truly scary world. Here in Harare muggings have become more violent with people losing their lives. I just heard yesterday of a man who was stabbed by a bunch of miscreants and then they hung him up a tree so as to make it look like a suicide. this man was on his way to work in the wee-hours of the morning. And at popular shopping center a pool of blood was seen by one of my workmates. A man had apparently been fatally stabbed.

Away

Been in kariba for the past couple of days on business. Am up late working on trhe system. So bloody hot here it feels like another country. I mean it never gets cold at all. It is so bloody hot here it is offending. The vice president is around staying in one of the suites and funny I tell you. They put a new varnish on the airport walls because she was coming. Poverty everywhere but because she is coming over they clean the place up. Funny as hell. And thne there is the GM from here, he is one of those blokes who just seems to have a serious lack of identity. He talks a lot of trash to be honest. Greeks, nigerians, myths, christianity. You've got to be something mate. But I guess he is not interested in being anything. Theory after theory which he is arse-about-face sure that is fact. So we sold Paddy. Hate to say it but I called it here . Really he had to go. Get someone in and we get going. Paddy has been a great servant and thanks mate but we really had to move forward and t...

Slum Village

Oh man the new one is burning. Prequel to a classic. It feels good that. The slum burn holes through your brain. Trying to be positive here. Listening to the Common Like Chocolate for Water and that is a classic right there. Damn that Thelonious track is heavy right there. Keep it shaking

It's a revolution

I am still feeling the pain of London 7/7/05. It is etched in my head. When the security of the free world was further compromised. And now when you look in The Sun newspaper you begin to see the losses. The individuals I spoke of yesterday, missing now, the agony of hoping for the best and fearing the west. God help us all On other issues my personal life looks to be getting dramatic now. Just a few interesting developments in my life. When they become more definite we will post it up.

London 7/7/05

The day after those fundamentalists encroached on liberty and our natural right to life, we are faced with a lot of uncertainties based on something that we all already knew. This world is no longer safe, this world has lost its innocence. We live in perrenial fear now that one day while we're walking down the road some person with an agenda that has nothing to do with us will affect our lives, maybe even take it. Noone who boarded the tube or the number 30 bus had any idea save for the perpetrators of this heinous crime. What is freedom, what is liberty for them at such a cost. Following a week in which finally the world was ready to take responsibilty for its poor this happens. It just makes it hard nowadays to put a smile on your face. And those whose lives were snuffed away by those individuals with a thirst for innocent blood, they will not see the premiership, nor will they watch the British and Irish Lions tomorrow. They will not watch the world cup in 2006, they will not be...

Rant and rave

I just found out, someone might not be coming iover for the holiday which sucks. A blast in London, which is just as well because it came the day after London got the Olympics. Baptista has not been signed and that belarus chap is still waiting for his work permit. Lil' Kim only got 1 year which means that justice again only serves therich and famous. I cant stop listening to my remix of nas's new york state of mind. Nas would really enjoy it think. Well it's back to work. Might rant later!

When will it all end

I have ignored the poverty of my fellow men for too long. I want to do something. It hurts me to see how sick the world is and the leaders going on without the slightest care. I turn to God in prayer, yes but it is hard to have faith when all you see before you is getting worse. I see my own personal circumstances for reasons i cannot disclose taking a turn for the worse soon. I am certain that i will survive many of these things but I can feel the misfortune at my doorstep. I just hope I am as ready as i imagine i am. I have to make it!

Ah poor zimbabwe

The amount of traffic outside is sad. Usually the city is buzzing with activity but there really is a fuel crisis of proportions because cars are just parked now. I have a guy who came in to do my garden and he says he was planning a lot for himself until this latest craze by the government denied him of a right to happiness and prosperity. He had walked from Chitungwiza, a city at least 30 km outside mine and the money I gave him for his effort isnt anywhere near what his services were worth. But both of us are caught in a fix. Where I feel I wish I could give him more and he knows I cant afford more. Still I will try and find a way of helping him. It is really sad, I have a cocktail to go to now and I am not even sure why there is anyone out there celebrating

Just one of those Days

Today I look awful. It looks like it is going to be a bad day. I just need to make it through. Have a few results coming up today. Now to listen to that trapped in the close t by R Kelly . An interesting operetta that. Only got to watch the video yesterday, all five chapters. Not getting married if you ask me.

Jump-Off and sport is back

Well did anyone watch the aussie-england final yesterday. If that is how the whole tour is likely to bear then sign me up mate. Nothing between the two of them mate. Just good cricket. And it means sport is back, the whole uncertainty of it all where teams play till the death and there are twists and turns make for the juice that has us hooked on sport. Heard the new Jump Off Joey? Get Up and Move are the two I have. Jus Blaze and Joey is proper right there.. Cant wait for the The Growth... Holla!

My life

I havea few stalkers at the moment. Now scared of answering my phones so much that i nopw give my phones to someone else to keep. It is hard life this

Adriano.... and life

Did you see Adriano last night. That my friend is orgasmic football. Power play, the bloke just powers through everythibng. He is like the Jonah Lomu of football, a phenomenon. I am in awe. If i had the Arsenal chequebook adriano would be at the Arsenal tomorrow. Life seems a bit boring these days. Styill serving notice. Came on late today. An IT audit tomorrow. Bored out of my mind.

Well this is interesting

Edu reckons we should get Robinho. He is a talent but dunno about that mate. I want a power player up front to be honest. Baptista will do but he doesnt have the caps necessary to get a work permit and join our lot. The weather is really getting on my nerves here., And about the key my neighbour finds the key and gives me in the evening after we had called in the locksmith and all. Damn...life Should be interesting tv tonight.. cant wait.

What a day

We sign Hleb. Arsene must rate him because he has wanted to sign him for a minute and he finally got his man.... And I lost my office keys... Which is a hassle. Am also runnng hard at being a billionaire...

Wenger makes the sounds

Wenger says he is bringing in two world class players and has a blueprint for a plan to stick it up the Chavs. Some papers say we are after robinho.. Oh dont get me excited. Imagine Robnho and Henry leading the line anjd van persie on the wings. The different combinations are terrifying... Good weekend this, some drama but all in a good sense

I am in

Was away sick yesterday, nice to be at home to wathc the cricket and normal service resumes, Aussies hammer England. Tough luck England but it keeps the ashes interesting. But that Aussie line-up is scary. . Damn and McGrath is getting into stride and it is just looking beautiful. Funny seeing Gough top score, at the expense of CSI New York on the other channel and no regrets... Going through a minor depression now...

Now that is sad

now what business do Bangladesh have conceding so many runs mate.. i mean 392... That is an insult to the game. Full marks to England for puynishing them like that. Cause letting them off would send the wrng message and give them the impression that all is well Young girl's hearts are heavy

Life simplified

An evaluation of life is this simple. You shouldnt have been born. Maybe something like an inter-galactic transfer would have been exciting. I mean I think a small percentage of life is interesting. The rest is spent waiting for that interesting bit. That is what life is, a waiting game, building up to moments of elation, moments that give the illusion of the whole experience of life being worth it... But is it?

Oh the Aussies and Little Brother doing my head in

So the Aussies have had it right up them on the tour. Even to bloody Bangladesh. Well it says a bit doesn't it? I mean everyone is talking about how the likes of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe have no place playing against the likes of Aus and the sort but the only way this lot is going to learn is from the pasting. When you play against the very best, you learn to play at a higher level only by being allowed to compete regularly. A good weekend this I say. Nice to rest and all. I am listening to a lot of Little Brother and they have that Slum Village feel. Am loving it I say. Damn. I am inspired and am having real conflic over what to specialise in, in terms of my music. Hip hop, dance or rnb? I will figure it out in a minute. Now back to my eight-to-five... Cant wait to get out of this grind.

Just thinking

You just wonder sometimes why many things happen the way they do. I have been ignoring this girl for three years and just telling her everytime that I would call her and I didnt then all of a sudden I decide to finallly call and cor blimey she is so interesting. And she is pretty good-looking too... And about thinking I seem to do a lot of thinking even when I dont have to. Wow man...

Another Day

You just wonder sometimes whether some days are necessary. They are not stressful, they are not exciting, they r not boring, they are just there. It is like God just hands you these blank cards and says, be creative!

It is happening

Nas needs my number and he needs it fast. He needs to call me so we can refix that I AM album and re-release it I say.. Damn homie. Slow day at work today and so I did three songs and they seem to ave come out well. Someone here is saying they want to get me connected and test it out in a club and see what up? Damn homie. All because I was redoing a nasty nas. But I am not touching the Timbaland songs. A timbaland song is complete...

Mike is free

So the verdict we all saw coming since the prosecution bungled its trial which is roughly about a week into proceedings was finally given. The king of pop is free to live as he did before because the people did not find anything wrong with him sleeping with boys. To be honest I always said to people, if he is guilty he will not get out of it. You cant dodge fact. If a kid comes and says I have been molested and he has been molested you cant get that past you. But well the kid wasnt molested, the mother was a a mullet-head and the prosecution wasted everyone's time. What next? Well Mike can put out an album now but will it sell? I dont know. Maybe the come back, the innocent one, I think he should just go full circle and join Prince(not his kid) as a Jehovah's Witness . What I would give to have Michael and Prince(not his kid) coming to my door. And as for the Twenty20 last night it was fun to see the Aussies getting a bashing like they did yesterday. But tell you what I didnt ...

And then

The Nas remixes have recieved rave reviews in the office today, wont work on them tonight because there is Twenty20. Hustling a lot today because got that cellbill to pay by the end of the work. This life. Ah and me bloody tummy hurts!

A Sunday Evening

Ah the sound of silence, spent my weekend resting then went into the office to just muck around toi be honest. And am working on my own version of Nas's I AM album, essentially a remix album, just some original beats of my own and Esco just riding em. I am sure nas is gonna enjoy them I have done 4 of the songs already. I particularly like my version of New york State of Mind. respect

Argh

Damn the weather here, it is nippy in the morning, then gets a wee-bit hot during the day and cool again at night. Well about that stay-away, the question should be what stay-away? I have been consoling a few friends of late and that is a beautiful thing. Was just having a chat with my sister about the old times and it is amazing the number of things I had forgotten about. Not so much nostalgia but just showed how far I have actually come in life. Sometimes you get caught up and you forget how far you've actually come. Am going to spend my day working for a change now. God bless Smile/...

Ah the sweet sound

I did sleep ever so well although it was short by usual standards, not mine but the world's. Today is supposed to be a strike action day for the whole country but I just dont see it happening to be honest. Army vehicles and I dont mean the regular kind, but the kind you take to Iraq passed by my house this morning and word is they were going to one of the suburbs or the next town which feeds off the city. Hope nothing huge happens. People are suffering enough already. I am listening to Guru's Street Scriptures 7.0, which is not a bad effort to be honest. I guess it is being overshadowed by KRSOne's Keep right on my player at the moment and of course Common's BE. Well got to go and lank about now...

And the drama continues

I know I have said a lot on Colegate of late and have made a rather scathing attack on the lad. I know that the boy is upset, and that sort of reaction can be expected from him but there are ways of going about these things. There are specific people to talk to. I have to recommend the Arsenal board for not responding to his interview which shows that they have everything under control. That is reassuring and I am sure when Arsene Wenger comes back everything will become a lot clearer. Whatever happens I am sure it will be in the best interests of everyone concerned - except maybe Jonathan Barnet. It is amazing how fast time is moving. Growing older and older and older by the minute. You just dont see time go by anymore. It just flies by and you're left wondering how much time you really have. That was one of the reasons I decided to play an active part in increasing my wealth by a hugely significant margin. Funny story, the guard next door was caught stealing in the wee hours of...

Chavski, Bucktooth and whatever else

So as you know the chavs have moved for spurs' arnesen, an illegal approach and all but i dont see the scum makinga report over the matter because they probably want to bed the moneybags innit? And Juve apparently want Ash. I am not Arsene Wenger but if he asked me to make a decision, I would say sell him! I mean after all he has gone and said he has burnt the bridges mate. He simply doesnt want to play for Arsenal. He is a no-brainer. Remember what he said after the FA Cup, I will definetly be at Arsenal next season. Pretty rich you twat! About bucktooth, ronaldinho, mouthing off about wanting our Thierry, keeps your hands off Barca! Mind you if the transfer goes through for some reason or the other that will be it. That will show that the Arsenal have no real ambitions but just want to stick about and challenge for the minor honours. If you going to win things you dont sell your best players. You add to your best. That is the formula. We already lost Edu which is a bit of a body...

Jens spells it out

So Jens Lehmann has come out and laid the law. Arsenal camaraderie is fantastic. Ashley is lying. What is up with these little new money footballers. Always mouthing off and trying to disturb the team because they are not having things their way. I respect Arsene Wenger, greatly and look at this, after all that Ashley has gone and said in the commission and the agent and all, the boss is not doing an Imperial Lord Fergie and telling him to narf off. He still wants Ash and he wants to talk to him like a father would. I tell you what, he better be happy that I am not the gaffer that is what? He would have been so off the minute he was seen talking to chavski the little twat. Piss me off he does. So anyway it is another monday and my the weeks have been flying by at some rate. Next thing I will be old and grey and most importantly as rich as piss. Plan to get that Johnny Depp island one day. People think I am crazy, but people also thought Sir Richard Branson was crazy. Life is crazy I s...

Ash is a tosser

Ashley Cole, if u were looking for sympathy, fuck you!. You can just sod off! Who the bloody hell do you think you are. Ashley, we sold Silvinho to give you a chance, we made u a world class left back and u talk about french boys running the system. Clichy has just started and he is challenging u. Which means if u dont stop mucking about, he will be better than you. You take 55k and imagine the kids who have to live on less than 50p a day mate. Not your ptoblem. We dont give a shyte. U can go where u feel like mate and dont expect any sympathy from us. You miffed cause Jermain Pennant left maybe? The lad was not up to the biz mate so he had to be shipped out. Who does he think he is? Exploit your love for the club? If you loved the club then you wouldnt have been sniffing about at chavski innit? u bloody sod. Sunday, tomorrow is work here. A great weekend this. Slept a lot, partied a bit and watched a lot of tv. yeah and zimbabwe won in the footie, bangladesh got to 300, brian lara ma...

Oh I keep forgetting this

Congratulations to West Ham. So glad to have them back And for those that do not know I have quit me job and serving me notice now. I have no idea what I am going to do after that.

The heck?

So Ashley Cole was disloyal, but did he have to be blatant about it? Why kiss the bloody badge mate? Maybe we dont know the full story and the fact that they might all be cozying up to each other in public but if half the things in the paper are to be believed then Arsenal should cut the problem out of the system even if it means selling him to the chavs. Ah bloody hell mate if he wants to leave he can just sod off but to play wit the minds and hearts of the fans like that is just not on. Fans expect loyalty and if you're gonna seek a job elsewhere you need to discreet in the least about it. Add to that the fact that you get paid all that dosh for your loyalty mate. If you have a free-for-all system then guess what mate, all the priveledge that comes with it is out the window. It is gone and you can be treated like everyone else out there. You wont be on 27k a week mate, you will be on 27k a year like the fans that see you as an icon. Traitor! I cant believe some of the things I am...

Ashley Cole Saga Pt2 & the close season

Judging by what his lawyer said after the punishment yesterday, Cole should be sold tomorrow. If he is an Arsenal man, then why does he need all that crap about prospective employers and all that drab. What happened to loyalty mate? The close season is most people's nightmare but for me it is more of a relief. As a fan, going through all that mess as a fan, plus the number of games shown on TV in a season, means a brother needs to take a break from football for a while. I wish I could actually go on holiday to just recharge for the new season. I am a football fan but I cant take any more for a while now. After watching something of the sort of 200 matches in a 9 month season you have to take a break somewhere.

Still

I am pretty enthralled. I have been writing some of my best material. Someone up there must really like me, i mean really like me. I think I should give Common and the Mighty Mos Def a call. Damn. So Barca want Thierry and have admitted interest publicly, isn't that unsettling a player which is illegal!

Elvis Presley a racist and Robinho rumours

Heard somewhere that the 'king' is a racist. I have never understood that whole king aspect. If the dude wrote his own music and produced it then you could say it belonged to him but the dude was just a rider. I am put off really. I mean kudos to him for the enterprise but it is like having some black dude being the king of country, even if he went through the roof with it. Damn homie. News on transfers for Arsenal, of course there is the Hleb situation. Everyone seems to make a big deal about him so he must be good but the shocker must be young robinho, the next pele. I dont think we will get him to be honest but if we do, ohmigosh! Well just come back into the office today after a week away and me in tray is full as ever so let me get to it.

And lemme see

So them livers got shagged by palace yesterday. Benitez is clueless in the prem innit? And as for Norwich, God Love 'em. Looked dead and buried a few weeks ago, but i guess the grim reaper might have to find himself a new job soon cause them lads have given themselves a chance. I am not even looking at the top now, watching the bottom four. That is where the football is being played mate. Survival, lives and jobs at stake, that is the reason we watch the game. The ooh's aaah's and all that jazz. Mind you i dont think there is a football on God's good green earth who found Arsenal v Chelsea a bore in spite of the draw. And in life, well there is the issue of career change that I am dealing with at the moment. I want to go and do my music now and all that jazz innit? Well me I'm just me.

Ah Liberty

So they said Gilberto was rubbish before. What the bloody hell does he do in that team they said. Now he is back they call him some sort of Messiah, that the reason(oh gosh did you need to a brainiac for this) we have lost four matches and drawn a few others this season is because Gilberto has been missing. I mean how did people not see what Gilberto was doing, A central defender is pulled out wide, up comes silva to slot into that spot in the middle and make sure noone comes through there and gives the team a real come-uppance. And how do you man mark him because he runs all over the place and pulls your man wide and next thing vieira or kolo toure can run through, or maybe Bergkamp falls back and exposes you. And now they finally see sense. Buy the man a beer Arsene Not sure what is happening in me life right now really. I am at a bit of a crossroads and am about to grab my liberty and run off with it. But then that is just me thinking out loud.

Google maxing me out here

I see my inbox increasing every minute and today aparently we going up to 2Gig. I mean what other email do you need? Gosh

Ugly girls

Just met two ugly women. Oh my gosh i have to bath in acid. at least they did not touch me

Ahsley Cole SAga

Quite rightly Ashley should have been charged. Whether he knew Mourinho would be there or not he knew that there was a contract on the table. He should have rtalked to Arsenal about gettinga significantly higher valuation and when talks had been irrevocably broken down then gone to talk to other people like what happened with Edu. At this pivotal time in our season, looking about as he did and in a very public fashion, that is despicable and completely out of order Ash. You are an Arsenal player right now and under contract, a contract you signed without coersion and have made numerous claims before that you could never envisage yourself at a different club. That Arsenal runs through your blood. You a l;ocal boy and have shown a serioius lack of loyalty. Look at Thierry Henry, a french lad ho joined the club a few years ago. He never shows such disrespect. What is the matter with you? Arsene gave you a chance and you kick him in the teeth? What did you expect from the esteemed Arsene....

Well he could not have timed it better

So Thierry decides to get in among the goals all of a sudden. wel to be fair he is scored a truckload this term as any other term with what, his sixth hattrick as an Arsenal player. Good show that and hope he still has it in him for Bayern's visit. You get the feeling there is a buzz around. That there is a sense of belief. Paddy is playing well and Quincy looks like he will be something. Cesc is, well I have no idea what to say about him any more and suddenly Cygan looks like a football player. I like where Senderos is taking his game and Ashley as a winger is something to think about although we do fancy him at left back. But that is a way to play clichy as well although I suppose with Reyes coming back that is a different story altogether. Arsene says he will get star names only this time. I am glad for that. And he says he will want to still work with the kids. Good show mate cause some of those kids have shown they have the quality to succeed at the home of football and will b...

Them gunners

Last night when Ashley Cole scored the last penalty, I ran outside and screamed total relief. And I was so glad to see Wenger smile again. Almunia did the business and never looked botehred in the pens. I have got my doubts about him but if Wenger thinks he is the chosen one then Wenger knows best. I have nevr seen an Arsenal team win pens and I am so glad for last night.

Well a bit sad

In a week's time I will be 24, I mean is that not the miost depressing age or what? It means that you are well set in your ways in adulthood. It basically means that all those carefree days are history mate. If you had any doubt about that it is being drummed into you. Now when you look at a lass who has just gone legal you are a sicko mate. Not that it stops most blokes though. It means that any minute from now you will be married. Not only that, the kids will be on their way, and you know what that means, it is an official statement to mean that my generation is up. I am handing over the downgraded version of me. Let's face it, we're not as good as the generation before us. Well Chelsea lost and Mourinho skips the post-match? And what was that? Man Utd? Oh dear...

About Munich last night

I think we played well enough to be relegated in any division in the world. No shape, no determination, no penetration, no team, no nothing. We migt as well have sent out a pub team And what is worse, the only time we bother pathetic kahn, we score. How rubbish is that?

Official Statement On Arsenal Football Club

I have every confidence in the policies enagaged at Arsenal football club as undertaken by Mr Wenger.

Gmail, as if there should be anything else

I have been using Gmeail for a while now though I have not said anything about it. It certainly does give you things that you nver knew you could demand from email and makes them feel as if that is the least you should have. I mean 1Gb. That says it all innit? 1Gb of mail. That means you can forget about deleting my friend. I mean was it not always annoying when you had to clean up mail because you needed to make space. How did we ever manage on less? This is excellence... Speaking of which Arsenal's excellence this weekend. Where has it been all this time. And then again Paddy Vieira. He is larger than life of late. He is beginning to put in some of those performances. I was one of his most fierce critics and I have to say I have to eat my own words now and quite gladly I must say. And what do you make of that Cole incident. I thought Ash was Arsenal through and through. Blinded by the lights innit? That is his chance of captaincy gone. And his iconic status might just suffer a...

Curtains

Myles Palmer says Arsenal have been thin for eight years. Which is why Arsene is a genius for winning those championships. last season was a freak season in which there was a combination of luck and zest. Arsenal are out of the reckoning for the league because we have the smallest squad in the top half of the table. It is not that there are no players but no players good enough to allow us to give the likes of Henry, Vieira and Campbell a break. Mourinho can do that, Fergie can do that, even Liverpool(injuries aside) can switch things around. I think Arsene has made a mistake in not getting a player in january. That would have freshened things up. And on the night, he picked the wrong keeper. I have always said in my discussions outside this forum that, Lehmann is the third best keeper in england, after the two at Chelsea. He has made his errors this season but he is still top class. And just when things could not get worse, vs Villa come the defensive partnership from hell. Hoyte...

Chelski have taken it

I just dont fancy Patrick Vieira at the moment. He is just a ponce, a totally rubbish player at the moment. Real Madrid must be laughing out of their bloody arses at the moment. We shoiuld have taken the hint, Real Madrid only want players who will be crap in a minute innit. He cant pass, he cant tackle(or doesnt want to tackle) He thinks he is bloody zidane now innit? Vieira even ol' Keane is now better than you. You're pantsies now and we think you suck. You're not a leader, you're an overpaid petulant little shytie schoolboy. An insult to the past captains of the club. If the boss has any honour he should sell and buy someone with the heart of a lion. Vieira at the moment clearly is not it. We lose more matches with him than without him. I am really pissed off.

Innit?

Been listening to the new album from the game for the last couple of weeks(dont ask where I got it from). Loving it I am saying that innit? I am thinking like this guy is good, like amazing stuff. Hip hop is back and that is good to know. Not much to say today.

Caught thinking

I am as tired as I am not even bothered to imagine and still I am caught thinking even when I dont have to be at the moment. As if thought and philosphy are thrust upon me as a consequence of simply being alive. Currently listening to the new U2 album which is a gem. It represents a generation that refuses to become self-infatuated and in persuance of the ultimate even though they might never know it. I suggest you get your hands on it, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. It is the relevance of U2 that nothing short of amazing. I mean I can still scream to sunday bloody sunday and so many years on I am astounded by the relevance. I am only 23 but I mean, wow. Which kinda has you thinking innit? You look at your generation and you think, they're a load of bollocks and they have lost it. Then what comes after you is nothing short of scandalous. I am of the school of thought that we are beginning to lose our humanity so as to sound like citizens of the world. We cannot be critical to...

What is going on at Highbury

Ok I never really fancied Edu so I am not really going to go crying over him? He is a great lad but I just never took to him you see. Nothing personal really. But the big one is on Lauren. One-year deal? What the bloody hell is that? And the way he has put himself on the line for the cause and you just cast him off like that. Something is not right and especially at a time when the team is crying because of the lack of depth in the squad. And does the gaffer hate brit lads? I mean Jermaine Pennant has not put a foot wrong this season and six months before the end of his contract there is nothing on the table. This may be a little controversial but I rate our lad better than Shaun Wright-Phillips except that SWP has more games under his belt. But he just is not getting his chance even though some of the other lads are on their last legs. That is nothing short of infuriating. And as for Vieira, someone please sell him right away. did you see the number of passes he missed against City...
